Our State-of-the-Art Eco-Friendly Football Field
At Ormiston Primary School, we are committed to providing high-quality, sustainable sporting facilities for our learners. In collaboration with TigerTurf, we have transformed our football field into a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly space designed for safety, performance, and long-term sustainability.
Innovative & Sustainable Design
The installation features TigerTurf’s NRG2 non-infill turf system, which eliminates the need for traditional infill while still delivering top-tier performance and durability. Beneath the surface, the ecocept® pad provides:
✅ Enhanced player safety – superior shock absorption reduces the impact on joints and muscles.
✅ Improved drainage – ensures the field remains playable even after heavy rain.
✅ Sustainability – made from recycled materials, reducing our environmental footprint.

Courts
Our school courts underwent an upgrade in 2025 with a complete resurfacing and marking out of basketball, netball, and badminton courts. Airtime hoops with adjustable height, tempered glass and pro breakaway rims were installed. Courts are open for public use outside of school hours – please no wheels (skateboards, roller skates/blades, bike, scooters etc) on the courts as they damage the surface.
