Learner and Parent Portal
Hero is a powerful and secure online sharing platform that allows our school to keep you informed of your child’s progress and share in their learning journey. Hero is designed to reduce the number of places that parents/caregivers need to check for information about school. Parents and caregivers can log in to their Hero account (even if they have students at multiple schools) and see all their learning stories; assessments; progress data; school notices; and much more.
Logging in for the first time
Hero OrmPS Communication Platform For Caregivers
Hero is used to share information with current parents/caregivers via Community Posts. Registered users will receive up-to-date information on school events and important dates. For Hero to work correctly for you, you must use the email address the school has on record for your login. If you need to change your email address or are having issues with your account, please email admin@ormps.school.nz
Parents/caregivers can access their child/children’s latest report and narratives, as well as their current digital subscription information. Hero is used to notify absences to the school, and make bookings for parent/learner meetings.
Important; As a caregiver the information you can see and access is different from the information your child can access. Please ensure you remain logged in as a caregiver and do not use your child’s school email address.
Hero for Learners
All OrmPS learners have access to their own personal HERO account. Your HERO account is set up for you when you start at OrmPS and login details will be sent to you.
To login to your HERO account, open a browser in a laptop or desktop , enter your school email address and password
If you have downloaded the Hero App from the App store or Google Play, you can also login this way (search Hero Linc-Ed).
In your account you will be able to locate useful information such as;
- Username and passwords for Mathletics, Reading Eggs and other digital subscriptions
- Home Learning Grids
Important information from your Learning Coaches shared in “My Feed” - Goal Setting
- Literacy, maths and narrative assessments
