Hero is a powerful and secure online sharing platform that allows our school to keep you informed of your child’s progress and share in their learning journey. Hero is designed to reduce the number of places that parents/caregivers need to check for information about school. Parents and caregivers can log in to their Hero account (even if they have students at multiple schools) and see all their learning stories; assessments; progress data; school notices; and much more.
Information for Parents/Caregivers logging in for the first time
Click on HERO login from a browser or download the app from Google Play Store or App Store. Search (search Hero Linc-Ed)
Hero for Learners
All OrmPS learners have access to their own personal HERO account. Your HERO account is set up for you when you start at OrmPS and login details will be sent to you.
To login to your HERO account, open a browser in laptop or desktop , enter your school email address and password
If you have downloaded the Hero App from the App store or Google Play, you can also login this way (search Hero Linc-Ed).
In your account you will be able to locate useful information such as;
- Username and passwords for Mathletics, Bugclub and other digital subscriptions
- Home Learning Grids
- Important information from your Learning Coaches shared in “My Feed”
- Goal Setting
- Literacy, maths and narrative assessments
Google Account and Emails
All OrmPS learners have a google account and email set up for them when they start their learning journey.
Go to https://www.google.com/
Enter your email address which will have been given to you and the password which is given to you

Digital Subscriptions for OrmPS Learners
All current learners at Ormiston Primary can access a wide range of online learning platforms. These can all be accessed either through your school google account or through specific usernames and passwords that are given to you for the different subscriptions.
Maths and Literacy Hubs
For the OrmPs Maths and Literacy Hubs links, learners will need to be logged into their Google account with their school email address and password. Only registered school email addresses can use these hubs. Copy the hub addresses into your school account and get learning!
